Fillmore is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Wednesday. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Carpinteria Warriors at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Wednesday.

Fillmore is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home last Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand Foothill Tech a 3-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Carpinteria got the win against Villanova Prep on Monday by a conclusive 9-0. The win continues a trend for Carpinteria in their matchups with Villanova Prep: they've now won six in a row.
