Softball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest lost against Seckman back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lions have suffered since September 23, 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Northwest and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Seckman, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Northwest is taking a road trip to take on DeSoto at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Seckman, they will take on Fredericktown in a tournament on Saturday. The Black Cats will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
