Soccer Recap: St. Paul Takes a Loss

St. Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Bishop Conaty-Loretto Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Swordsmen have lost by exactly two goals.

St. Paul's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Bishop Conaty-Loretto, they pushed their record up to 8-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

St. Paul will square off against Sacred Heart of Jesus on Saturday. As for Bishop Conaty-Loretto, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Bishop Conaty-Loretto challenge the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Bishop Conaty-Loretto is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.
