Softball Recap: Legacy Comes Up Short

Legacy lost against Eaglecrest back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lightning came up short against the Raptors, falling 12-2.

Legacy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kady Cosyns, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Kayla Vaccaro also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Eaglecrest, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Legacy will face off against Frederick at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eaglecrest, they will head out to face off against ThunderRidge at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
