Flag Football Game Preview: GALA Goddesses vs. King/Drew Golden Eagles

The GALA Goddesses will face off against the King/Drew Golden Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (GALA 7.2, King/Drew 11.6) so any points scored will be well earned.

King/Drew's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Wednesday: GALA hadn't allowed a single point the last four times they've hit the field. The Goddesses' defense stepped up to hand Dorsey a 12-0 shutout on Monday. The Goddesses haven't had any issues with the Dons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, King/Drew lost to Segerstrom on the road by a 20-6 margin on Saturday.

GALA's win bumped their record up to 12-2-1. As for King/Drew, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1.

GALA beat King/Drew 21-12 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Will the Goddesses repeat their success, or do the Golden Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
