Sequoyah had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Adair Warriors 3-1. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 8-6 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Sequoyah's victory bumped their record up to 22-8. As for Adair, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-10.

Sequoyah has already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Roland on the 15th. As for Adair, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-1 victory against Lincoln Christian on the 15th.
