Recap: Ferndale Wildcats vs. Clear Lake Cardinals
The Ferndale Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 23 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 41-17 margin over Clear Lake. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ferndale.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ferndale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tinnley Pidgeon, who scored 12 points. The matchup was Pidgeon's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michaela Ellsmore, who scored nine points.
Ferndale pushed their record up to 6-3 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Clear Lake, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ferndale and Fortuna will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Fortuna has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Clear Lake will be home for the holidays to greet St. Helena at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
