Leuzinger picks up 16th straight win at home

Recap: Leuzinger Olympians vs. Centennial Apaches

The Leuzinger Olympians can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past Centennial 57-16 at home. Winning may never get old, but Leuzinger sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Dresha Moore was her usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Naijah Nelson, who scored seven points along with five assists.

Leuzinger pushed their record up to 20-4 with that victory, which was their 16th straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.31 points. As for Centennial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leuzinger will face off against Morningside at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Morningside will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 663rd, while Leuzinger is ranked 32nd). As for Centennial, they will head out on the road to square off against Inglewood at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
