Taylor got a great performance from Devin Valdez as he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Valdez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
At the plate, Taylor's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Chris Perez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Manor New Tech's win bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Taylor, they now have a winning record of 8-7-2.
