Basketball Recap: Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley Comes Up Short

Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Brookville Raiders 45-12. Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-4.

Several Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maddy Dehart, who posted six points in addition to 11 rebounds and three steals. Dehart is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. Mal Fair was another key player, putting up four points and five steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Brookville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.
