Soccer Recap: Milpitas Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Milpitas after they claimed the first goal on Saturday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Notre Dame Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Jayden Hernandez, who's now up to two this season.

Milpitas' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Notre Dame, the win got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Milpitas will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cupertino at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. After both having extra time off, Notre Dame and Woodside will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 12:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
