Baseball Recap: New Hampstead Takes a Loss

New Hampstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Perry Panthers, falling 19-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 16-6 loss on Friday.

New Hampstead's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Perry, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Hampstead will venture away from home to challenge The Habersham School at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Perry, they will head out to square off against Warner Robins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
