Basketball Game Preview: KIPP San Jose Collegiate Wolfpack vs. Notre Dame Regents

Having just played yesterday, the KIPP San Jose Collegiate Wolfpack will head out on the road to face off against the Notre Dame Regents at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. KIPP San Jose Collegiate will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Monday, KIPP San Jose Collegiate strolled past Luis Valdez Leadership Academy with points to spare, taking the game 27-8.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Priory, falling 67-41. While losing is never fun, the Regents can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while the Panthers are ranked 15th).

KIPP San Jose Collegiate's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.4 points over those games. As for Notre Dame, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.
