Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canon-McMillan). They blew past the Connellsville Falcons, posting a 59-22 victory. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Big Macs with their most commanding win of the season.

Canon-McMillan's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Faye Saunders, who went 5 for 7 en route to 11 points and six rebounds. Madison Clair was another key player, going 5 of 8 on her way to 14 points and three blocks.

Canon-McMillan has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Connellsville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Canon-McMillan will venture away from home to face off against Beaver at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st. Beaver will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Canon-McMillan surely won't give up without a fight. Connellsville has already played their next game, a 63-23 loss against Upper St. Clair on the 15th.
