Softball Recap: Commerce Drops Season-High Score on Rabun County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Commerce). They put the hurt on the Rabun County Wildcats with a sharp 12-4 win on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Commerce picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Rabun County, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Commerce is set to challenge their familiar foe Elbert County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rabun County will square off against rival Oglethorpe County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
