Baseball Recap: Mount View Comes Up Short

Mount View fell victim to Richwood and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Lumberjacks, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lumberjacks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in April.

Mount View's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Richwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mount View will venture away from home to face off against Greenbrier West at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Richwood, they will face off against Webster County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lumberjacks are facing the Highlanders at the right time seeing as the Highlanders are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
