Soccer Recap: Sissonville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Chapmanville Regional on Saturday, Sissonville came back down to earth. The Indians came up short against the Point Pleasant Big Blacks on Tuesday, falling 6-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sissonville of the 6-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

With the loss, Sissonville broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 8-7. As for Point Pleasant, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6-1.
