Baseball Recap: Mays Comes Up Short

Mays was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 25-7 to the Pace Academy Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 25-1 last Friday.

Mays saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyson Williams, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Mays' defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Pace Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6.

Mays didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-4 victory against Forest Park on the 19th. As for Pace Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 21-1 win against Drew on the 19th.
