Linden has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 16. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Calaveras Red Hawks on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Lions have lost by exactly two goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Karina Garcia, who's now up to three this season.

Linden's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-2. As for Calaveras, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Linden will venture away from home to take on Riverbank at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Linden is facing Riverbank at the right time seeing as Riverbank is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Calaveras has already played their next game (against Big Valley Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
