Soccer Recap: Atascadero Victorious

Atascadero was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They had just enough and edged the Righetti Warriors out 2-1. The Greyhounds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Jayda Ball was the driving force of Atascadero's attack as she scored both of Atascadero's goals, bringing her season total up to eight goals.

Atascadero's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-5-4. As for Righetti, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5-7.

Atascadero has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Paso Robles on the 17th. As for Righetti, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against St. Joseph on the 17th.
