Soccer Game Preview: Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica vs. Oakwood

The Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica Seawolves will challenge the Oakwood Owls on Thursday.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica's offense. They lost 5-0 to Maranatha Christian on Saturday. The shutout was out of character for the Seawolves seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oakwood). They never let International School of Los Angeles onto the board and left with a 13-0 win on Tuesday. The Owls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by four goals or more this season.

Oakwood is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four contests. As for Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4-1.
