It's playoff time, and Chandler had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Roland Rangers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Thursday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Kennedy Allen made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 17 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Blaklei Smith, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Halle Herrmann, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Chandler, bringing their record up to 26-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Roland, they now have a losing record of 14-15.

Looking ahead, Chandler will head out to challenge Latta at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 1.3, the Panthers 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Roland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
