Basketball Recap: Silverado Takes a Loss

Silverado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 59-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Burroughs Burros.

Despite the loss, Silverado still got an impressive performance from Song Fields, who posted 22 points. Another player making a difference was Kyasia Green, who earned 13 points.

Zykeriah Mcfadden was the offensive standout of the game as she went 7 for 9 on her way to 15 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigail Hardwick, who put up eight points and ten rebounds.

Silverado's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Burroughs, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Silverado didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 93-28 defeat against Rialto on the 11th. As for Burroughs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 76-44 victory against Adelanto on the 11th.
