Basketball Game Preview: Windber Ramblers vs. Everett Warriors

The Windber Ramblers will venture away from home to square off against the Everett Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Windber is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Windber is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 62-36 margin over McConnellsburg. The Ramblers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Everett suffered their biggest defeat since January 27, 2025 on Friday. They were outmatched by Berlin Brothersvalley and fell 68-35. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Mountaineers are ranked 37th).

Windber's victory bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Everett, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-4.

Windber and Everett were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in March of 2024, but Windber came up empty-handed after a 38-37 defeat. Can the Ramblers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
