Softball Recap: Cache Takes a Loss

Cache was the 6-1 winner over Newcastle when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 5-1 to the Racers on Thursday.

Cache's loss dropped their record down to 27-15. As for Newcastle, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-4-1.

Looking ahead, Cache will head out on the road to challenge Southmoore at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Newcastle will be paying especially close attention to the Bulldogs' contest: after the Bulldogs face off against Washington, they'll take on Newcastle again.
