Softball Recap: Bridge Creek Comes Up Short

Bridge Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-1 to the Blanchard Lions. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bobcats, who until this game were averaging 3.15 runs allowed.

Bridge Creek now has a losing record of 16-17. As for Blanchard, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bridge Creek will face off against Anadarko at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blanchard, they will head out to face off against Lindsay at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 1.1, the Leopards 1.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
