Football Recap: West Franklin Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for West Franklin's offense. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Wabaunsee Chargers. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Chandler Scott threw for 55 yards on three of 22 attempts. Landon Ohlde was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards.

West Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wabaunsee, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. West Franklin will face off against rival Mission Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wabaunsee is set to square off against their familiar foe Osage City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
