Baseball Recap: New Hampstead Comes Up Short

New Hampstead couldn't beat Jenkins on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Phoenix fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 9-8. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

New Hampstead's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Jenkins, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Hampstead will welcome The Habersham School at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Jenkins, they will host Cross at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
