Baseball Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss

St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the Mount Paran Christian Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 14-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2021.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Mount Paran Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

St. Francis will head out to take on Galloway at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Paran Christian, they will welcome Whitefield Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Whitefield Academy sitting on three straight wins and Mount Paran Christian on seven.
