Football Recap: Park Rapids Panthers vs. Frazee Hornets
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Barnesville, Park Rapids was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Frazee Hornets 57-23 at home. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Carter Hirt went supernova for Park Rapids, rushing for 63 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 184 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes. Another player making a difference was Jaydon Walen, who rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Park Rapids' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Parker Hunter was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sackshimself.
Park Rapids now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Frazee, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
