Palisades waltzed into their contest on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Venice Gondoliers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dolphins also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Mechal Green and Sibley Norris scored all three of Palisades' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Palisades' victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine games. As for Venice, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 12-5-3.

Palisades and Venice should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Palisades will face off against University at 5:30 p.m. on Monday up 890 places (65 vs. 955). Palisades is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 7 goals per game this season. Meanwhile, Venice (ranked 195th) will meet Los Angeles CES (ranked 401st) at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
