Soccer Game Preview: Dublin vs. Heritage

The Dublin Gaels will take on the Heritage Patriots at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Dublin's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past American 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gaels.

Meanwhile, Heritage didn't have quite enough to beat Foothill on Tuesday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Patriots have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Heritage and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Dublin, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Dublin skirted past Heritage 3-2 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Will Dublin repeat their success, or does Heritage have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
