            Basketball Recap: Wyoming Area Warriors vs. Lake-Lehman Knights        
        
		
        
        
            If Wyoming Area was feeling good  fresh off their  43-9 takedown of MMI Preparatory School last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wyoming Area Warriors came up short against  the Lake-Lehman Knights on Monday, falling  43-17. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  59-21  on January 6th.
Despite the  defeat, Wyoming Area saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Shannon Kearns  posted seven points along with eight  rebounds and four  steals.
 Even though they lost, Wyoming Area  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 14  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least ten  offensive boards in four consecutive  games.

The  loss snapped Wyoming Area's winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 7-13 record. As for Lake-Lehman, the  victory was  the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.
 Wyoming Area will take on Hanover Area at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Lake-Lehman, they will face off against Greater Nanticoke Area at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
