Volleyball Recap: Union Takes a Loss

After flying high against St. Andrew's Episcopal on Tuesday, Union came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets lost 3-0 to the Northwest Rankin Cougars on Thursday. Considering the last time the Yellowjackets couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 27-11. As for Northwest Rankin, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 15-14.

Looking ahead, Union will welcome Jefferson Davis County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Northwest Rankin, they will square off against Gulfport at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
