Recap: Independence Falcons vs. Lancaster Eagles

Despite the loss, Independence saw an underclassman step up: Madison Harrold scored six points along with ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Olivia Fletcher was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with four steals.
Even though they lost, Independence were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Independence has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Lancaster, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
