Soccer Game Preview: Poway vs. Carlsbad

The Poway Titans will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Carlsbad Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Poway is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Mt. Carmel just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 5-0 to the Sundevils. The loss was the Titans' first of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Carlsbad, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Point Loma by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

Carlsbad hit Point Loma with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Siena LeSueur, Cassidy Doogan, and Charlotte Cliff.

The victory got Carlsbad back to even at 2-2. As for Poway, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Poway beat Carlsbad by a goal in their previous meeting on Thursday, winning 5-4. Does Poway have another victory up their sleeve, or will Carlsbad turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
