Recap: West Wolfpack vs. Irvington Vikings
The West Wolfpack lost against the Irvington Vikings back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. West received a tough blow as they fell 46-30 to Irvington. West has not had much luck with Irvington recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, West still got an impressive performance from Athena Pastran, who scored 17 points. Pastran continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaliyah Byrd, who scored 6 points.
West's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Irvington, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West will take on Lathrop at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Irvington, they will be playing at home against Willow Glen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
