James McInerney Game Report: @ Staples

Passers beware: James McInerney came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made two total tackles and defended one pass as New Canaan took down Staples 28-0. We hope McInerney's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, McInerney and New Canaan are taking a road trip to take on Trumbull at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Thanks in part to McInerney's efforts, the Rams will roll in undefeated.
