Apollo Ridge is 5-0 against Deer Lakes since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Apollo Ridge Vikings will finish 2024 at home by hosting the Deer Lakes Lancers at 6:00 p.m. Apollo Ridge will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Thursday, Apollo Ridge had to suffer through a 63-14 loss at the hands of Winchester Thurston.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 59 points the game before, Deer Lakes was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Avonworth an easy 46-20 win. The loss was the Lancers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Deer Lakes fell to 3-1. As for Apollo Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Apollo Ridge beat Deer Lakes 45-34 in their previous meeting back in February. Will Apollo Ridge repeat their success, or does Deer Lakes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
