Recap: Tyrone Golden Eagles vs. Penns Valley Area Rams
The Tyrone Golden Eagles were the 47-36 winner over the Penns Valley Area Rams when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Tyrone took a 45-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Penns Valley Area. Tyrone has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Penns Valley Area to victory, but perhaps none more so than Scotty Dinges, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals. The game was Dinges' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Elle Dinges, who scored 17 points.
Tyrone's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Penns Valley Area, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Tyrone will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clearfield at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. As for Penns Valley Area, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Westmont Hilltop at 6:00 p.m.
