Soccer Recap: Mt. Diablo Takes a Loss

Mt. Diablo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Berean Christian Eagles, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1187th, while the Eagles are ranked 560th).

Mt. Diablo's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16-1. As for Berean Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-1-1 record this season.

Coming up, Mt. Diablo will head out to take on Bethel at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Berean Christian, they will square off against Concord at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Berean Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season.
