Bloomfield came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 51.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Bernalillo Spartans to the tune of 60-16. That's two games straight that the Bobcats have won by exactly 44 points.

Bloomfield didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kaleb Huchens and Peyton Duncan.

Bloomfield's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Bernalillo, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Bloomfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 62-12 victory against Espanola Valley on the 25th. As for Bernalillo, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 32-14 loss against Grants on the 24th.
