Basketball Recap: Pittsburg Takes a Loss

Pittsburg and Dougherty Valley squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Pittsburg had to settle for second. They came up short against the Dougherty Valley Wildcats, falling 45-25. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pirates have suffered since January 14th.

Pittsburg dropped their record down to 12-14 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Dougherty Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

Pittsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dougherty Valley, they will square off against Branson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
