Softball Recap: Pawnee Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Pawnee's victory against Caney Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Black Bears won by a run and slipped past the Trojans 5-4. The win was familiar territory for the Black Bears, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Pawnee's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Caney Valley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8.

Looking ahead, Caney Valley will welcome Kellyville at 11:15 a.m. on Friday. Pawnee will be paying especially close attention to the Trojans' game: after the Trojans face off against Nowata, they'll take on Pawnee again at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
