Soccer Game Preview: Mills vs. Half Moon Bay

The Mills Vikings are taking a road trip to take on the Half Moon Bay Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mills' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mills' offense. They fell just short of South San Francisco by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Half Moon Bay can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They never let Jefferson get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Half Moon Bay were the better team in the second half.

Marcia Lynes and Leila Jimenez scored both of Half Moon Bay's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Half Moon Bay's victory bumped their record up to 2-5-1. As for Mills, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.
