Basketball Recap: Pitman's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Pitman suffered their biggest loss since November 26th on Friday. They lost 57-32 to the Mountain House Mustangs. It was the first time this season that the Pride let down their fans at home.

Despite the loss, Pitman still got an impressive performance from Tusi Elisaia, who posted seven points in addition to six boards and three steals. Elisaia has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Even though they lost, Pitman smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in five consecutive contests.

Jariah Indalecio continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mountain House, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine steals. That's the most points Indalecio has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Erica Foster, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Pitman's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-7. As for Mountain House, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Pitman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-40 loss against Patterson on the 28th. As for Mountain House, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-46 victory against Riverbank on the 28th.
