Softball Recap: Preston Takes a Loss

Preston blew Glenpool out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Glenpool got their revenge. The Pirates fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Pirates have suffered since October 10, 2024.

Preston's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Glenpool, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Preston and Glenpool will both be playing Bartlesville the next time they take the field. The Pirates will head out to face the Bruins at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
