Baseball Recap: Caledonia Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against La Crescent, Caledonia was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Century Panthers 6-4.

Tyson Ginther and Jacob Klug did most of the damage at the plate: Ginther went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Klug went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs Ginther has posted since back in April.

Caledonia's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Century, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Caledonia will face off against Stewartville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Century does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
