High school basketball: Jordan Roberts of Utah tops national assists leaderboard

Dixie High School senior dishing out 11.3 assists per game for No. 3 team in state.

According to statistics submitted to MaxPreps, Jordan Roberts of Dixie (St. George, Utah) is high school basketball's national leader in assists.

The senior averages 11.3 assists per contest and started the season by hitting double-digits in his first five games. Roberts also averages 10.9 points per game for the No. 3 team in Utah.

Ikee Brooks of Hansberry (Chicago, Ill.) has dished out 10.8 assists per game and comes in at No. 2 in the nation. The junior has distributed 17 assists at least four times this season, including 26 in one game on Dec. 22. Brooks also averages 17.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.4 steals and 2.1 blocks per game.

Five-star junior prospect Cayden Boozer of Columbus (Miami, Fla.) also made the list at 7.5 assists per game. Holding offers from Duke and Kentucky among others, Boozer is the table setter for the No. 1 team in the country.
