Cascade hadn't beaten Moore County on the road since August 19, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Champions came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 17-10. For the Champions, this counts as revenge for the 33-7 win the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Sam Bradley had a dynamite game, throwing for 191 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes, while also rushing for 92 yards on only 11 carries. Nate Zimmerman helped out on the ground, rushing for 92 yards.

Cascade's run defense was locked in: Moore County could only muster 3.2 yards per carry. While one picked up at least five total tackles, Braxtyn Burris stood above the rest. He picked up 81 receiving yards and one score. Cascade didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.6.

Cascade has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 16 points this season. As for Moore County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Cascade will challenge Summertown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Moore County, they will face off against Goodpasture Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
